Morningstar Mystery School Presents: Elements of Life -a Foundational Course in Magical Practice

Course Description:
For students of Western witchcraft and magic, Morningstar Mystery School offers this long-term intensive to support you in deepening your practice with encouragement, structure, and community.
Elements of Life offers focused contemplative work and practice with the esoteric elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. For each element, we will spend three months engaged in daily and weekly practices to cultivate its qualities in our lives and magic, followed by one month of integration before moving to the next. Those who complete this first arc with the four cardinal elements will be invited to continue in the same manner with the Column of Spirit: Above, Below, and Center.
The course begins September 20th, 2023 and will be taught by Laura and Tony. We ask for a $25 monthly donation to the school for the duration of your participation. If that would be a hardship, let us know what amount of tuition would be sustainable for you.
Student Expectations:
To support our students, we provide an online forum for ongoing discussion and one one-and-a-half-hour Zoom call per month.
We will support you in building a daily spiritual practice that works for your needs and aims. Usually students commit an average of twenty minutes to daily practice. You will also be offered weekly practice prompts which may take about an hour over the course of the week.
Completing the first round of the four cardinal elements will take 1 ⅓ years. If you continue with Spirit, you will complete the training in 2 ⅓ years, after which you may apply to join Morningstar Mystery School for further study and exploration.
Students will need to acquire their own copy of T. Thorn Coyle’s Evolutionary Witchcraft.
What You Will Learn:
Air: To experience the consciousness-shifting powers of intentional breath and self-observation. To examine our patterns of thinking and speaking, and learn the powers of naming and discernment.
Fire: To activate and strengthen the powers of will, and to look at our patterns of energy usage.
Water: To integrate the powers of flow and following intuition while observing our patterns of emotion.
Earth: To deepen into the powers of embodiment, generosity, and death; reflect on our relationship with the earth and ancestors, while looking at our relationship to our physical body, community, and land.
