Morningstar Circle Casting
- Wand in non-dominant hand, blade in dominant hand. Cross them over chest. Center. Align.
- Cast starting in the East. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Dawning Knowledge”.
- South. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Inner Flame”.
- West. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Heartfelt Daring”.
- North. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Silent Name”.
- Above. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Vast Expansion”
- Below. Draw pentagram to open the energies: Say out loud: “Focus Deep”
- Center Cross tools over chest again and say out loud: “Centered. Living. Now.”
- Breath. “All space and time exist around me. All space and time exist within. I am the priest/ess of my life.
- Breath. “All acts of true intention hold the power to open the sacred rites.”
- Put tools down and ring a bell to seal the energy. (If more than one person is doing the rite, one other person will be assigned to ring the bell).
- Close with blade and wand, moving counter to how you cast:
- The center is present
- The focus remains.
- Expand ever outward,
- Resounding this name.
- With daring, move onward,
- Inspired by the flame
- To dawn with new brightness…
- We/I remember.
- We/I practice.
- We/I serve.
- (Open arms outward, letting the energy from the tools spread out in space and time).
- “May the blessings roll outward, sharing this work for the benefit of all beings, who were, are, and will be.”
- “Holy Mother, in whom we live, move and have our being, from you all things emerge, and unto you, all things return.”
