The New Moon occurs on Saturday, October 10, at 8:50 a.m. PDT/11:50 a.m. EDT.  Sun and Moon are at 17 degrees of Libra, the sign of relationship, and balancing our needs with those of others.  There is a lot of Scorpio energy in this chart too, and the energy of the chart is more introspective, and witch-y.  There is also a need to slow down as much as possible.

Libra is ruled by Venus, who is now retrograde in Scorpio.  Venus is in an exact square to Mars in Leo.  Squares are challenging aspects, where we may find ourselves at cross-purposes with another person or issue, or even ourselves.  Scorpio and Leo are both fixed signs, and fixed signs do not like to give in.  Relationships could either be contentious or very sexy.  Desire is running high, so please be careful and think before you speak.  Venus and Mars also form a T-square with Pluto in Aquarius.  Scandals may be revealed and shocking news stories are likely.

Mercury is in Scorpio as well, where it likes to get to the bottom of things.  This is an excellent time to look within to find answers.  It is also a good time for research,  investigation, cleaning out closets.  It’s also an excellent time for journaling, divination, and going within.
