This month’s full moon occurs on Wednesday, July 29, at 7:35 a.m. (PDT)/10:35 a.m. (EDT).  Simultaneously, the Sun and Jupiter are conjunct in Leo, and the Moon and Pluto are conjunct in Aquarius.  Leo is the sign of self-expression, and also represents leadership, the performing arts, creativity, and generosity.  Sun is the ruler of Leo, and combined with Jupiter–which expands whatever it touches–there could be a lot of spectacle going on, anywhere from peak experiences to overblown egos.  Opposing these planets are the Moon and Pluto.  Aquarius describes how we fit in to society, and tends to reflect our social connections.  With Pluto there, it adds intensity to the Moon.  Something may come to light which affects us all.  So, during this lunation, we seek balance between shining our light into the world, being who we fully are (Leo), and being a member of our community as well as the larger world (Aquarius).

Also during the Full Moon, the luminaries receive supportive aspects from other planets of the Barbault Basket, namely Uranus and Neptune.  Creativity is highlighted under this Full Moon, as well as receiving insights and intuition about our future.  Stay tuned to see what arises in your dreams, or while sitting under the stars at night.  Later that evening, the next planet to aspect the Moon is a trine from Saturn in Aries.  The steady influence of Saturn will support our creativity, as well as help us find practical ways we can proceed with plans for the future.
